The National Convention Centre Canberra has undergone a $5.4 million refurbishment. New seating in the Theatres and the Royal Theatre was one of the final components of our transformation. The NCCC is refreshed and revitalised and ready for your upcoming event.
Conference delegates are enjoying the makeover of our foyer, which includes new furniture, carpet, digital signage, a refurbished reception area, improved conference office and cloak room.
We have worked with a range of innovative and reputable local companies on our refurbishment. Philip Leeson Architects, with its multidisciplinary team, managed the architectural design. Monarch Building Solutions is spearheading implementation with its commitment to high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Canberra Floorcraft is also on the job. Timber, including blackbutt and ash, was sourced from Thor’s Hammer, a joinery, sawmill and recycled timber yard based at The Brickworks art and designer hub.
Final stages complete! First class comfort in the Royal Theatre and Theatrettes, NEW digital signage in the foyer brings us into the digital age. Centre looks great! Come and see it for yourself, get in touch and book a venue experience.
