Ensuring excess food is not wasted

Thanks to OzHarvest, the Centre’s excess food does not go to waste. The National Convention Centre regularly contributes its excess food to OzHarvest who distributes to various charities in need.

The Centre’s Head Chef works very closely with OzHarvest in Canberra to ensure the Centre can help out in any way possible. From team member fund raisers to public cup cake making days where the kitchen team goes into local shopping malls to teach children and parents how to decorate the perfect cup cake for a small fee; with all proceeds going to OzHarvest.

The Centre is passionate about helping OzHarvest.
