Hearing Loops installed at the National Convention Centre

In a significant step to increase accessibility for all patrons of the National Convention Centre, Hearing Loops have been installed in the Centre’s major meeting rooms. I-AMP amplifiers and receivers are in place in the Royal Theatre, Ballroom, and the Bradman, Menzies, Nicholls, and Sutherland Theatres. The induction loops will improve the levels of hearing and comfort for the hearing impaired.
National Convention Centre Launches Australian Open in Canberra

National Convention Centre Canberra (NCC) demonstrated its versatility as a world-class events venue when it unveiled a purpose-built all-glass squash court to more than 100 local sports, tourism and business identities on February 4, 2010, to launch the Australian Open Squash Championship scheduled for August.
The National Convention Centre raises $1500 for Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia.
