Matthew has more than 19 years of hotel industry experience, working in various locations throughout Australia and New Zealand. Matthew has been General Manager of IHG properties across Australia since 2001, leading his team to numerous awards including ‘Best Conference Facility’ for two years running.

Cindy is an Associate Fellow of Meetings and Events Australia with 22 years of convention experience. Cindy previously directed IHG’s Government Program 2003–2005; and Crowne Plaza Canberra’s involvement as the Olympic Village in Canberra for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and held the position of ACT Chair of Meeting Events Australia. An avid traveller, especially to Mediterranean countries, Cindy is currently training to walk the Camino in Spain.
Cindy returned to the National Convention Centre in 2007 to assist with reopening the refurbished Centre and currently sits on the Canberra Institute of Technology Advisory Council and is Dragon Boating to raise money for Breast Cancer Research.
