Diann has worked for IHG for 12 years. Diann’s event management experiences have recently included: APEC Senior Officials’ Meeting in 2007; 2006 ‘Defence + Industry’ Conference for 1,000 delegates; and The Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand’s Annual Scientific Meeting Conference in 2006 for 2,000 delegates. Diann received the 2006 Meetings and Events Industry Award for ACT Event Manager of the Year and was also a finalist for the National MEA Awards.

Marianne has joined the National Convention Centre from Mantra on Northbourne, where she was the Conference and Events Sales Manager. Prior to that she worked for the Humour Foundation in Sydney as an Events Coordinator, and has also lived and travelled in the United States. Marianne has a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management from the University of Canberra and is committed to ensuring your event is a success.

Emma began her career as a Banquets Attendant at the National Convention Centre in 2007. Emma then moved into the Events Team in a role as Events Assistant in 2008. Due to her ongoing passion and energy Emma has recently been promoted to Event Coordinator, specialising in Government and Association clients.

Emma brings to the team broad knowledge of both the operational and coordination side of events as well as ongoing commitment to our customers. Emma successfully completed her Diploma in Event Management and her Certificate IV in Tourism at the Canberra Institute of Technology.

Emma is the Meeting Events Australia (MEA) ACT / Ungerboeck Systems International Young Professional Scholarship winner.

Stephanie has recently graduated from the Canberra Institute of Technology after completing her Diploma of Event Management and Certificate IV in Tourism. She began working with the National Convention Centre’s reception team in July 2009 and has recently started in the full-time role of Events Assistant.
